Squash Blossom Quesadillas | Cooking with a Wallflower

One of my favorite weekend activities is the Farmer’s Market. I’m willing to wake up early on Saturday or Sunday morning just to browse fresh produce and discover new vendors. This last weekend, my cousin and I went to downtown Sunnyvale for the Saturday morning Farmer’s Market. We have never been to this one before, so it was a pleasant surprise to find so many vendors I haven’t encountered before. One block was lined with fruits and vegetables, the other block sold different prepared foods. It’s definitely a food blogger’s paradise!

Sugar Cookies

Slightly crispy on the outer edges and chewy in the center with a hint of vanilla, these sugar cookies are the easiest to make! With just four ingredients, these sugar cookies are ready in about 20 minutes. Sugar Cookies | Cooking with a WallflowerAfter two days of dealing with website issues, I really needed a batch of these crispy yet chewy sugar cookies to make me feel better. The issue of posts and images not loading properly appeared for some readers and not for others. I’m not sure why that was, but I knew there was a problem. Especially since I couldn’t even log into my dashboard. It took me awhile to convince the technicians that something was wrong. I spent most of yesterday on the phone, emailing, and online chatting with 8 technicians.  I think I finally figured out what went wrong with the site, and I’m now ready to post. Crossing my fingers that the issue has been resolved. =)

Blog Trouble

I just wanted to let you know that I’m having trouble with my site right now. My dashboard is refusing to let me log in, constantly telling me that my page cannot be found or that I have a redirect loop. When it does allow me to log in, my access lasts for a few minutes at most. So I have just enough time to send you a message, letting you know that that’s what happening.

I’m currently trying to work with WordPress and my host server to get this fixed as soon as possible. In the meantime, I’m not sure if it affects what you see on my blog. I know from my end, some photos aren’t showing and the content appears to be in plain text, definitely not how I wanted it.

Let me know what issues you are experiencing on my blog so that I can mention it to my host server and to wordpress.

Thank you so much for being patient. Once the blog is up and running perfectly again, I’ll be back sharing my new recipes with you plus an update through Life with a Wallflower. =)

I hope you don’t mind. =)

Sweet Cherry Crumble | Cooking with a Wallflower

It’s cherry season! Are you excited as I am?

I’ve always been a fan of fresh cherries. It’s just different in texture and taste compared to other fruits. What I don’t like is cherry flavor. If there are cherry –flavored candies, or if a dessert has maraschino cherries, no thank you. I prefer the real deliciously sweet and slightly tart ones.
