I hope you had a wonderful weekend! I spent my Saturday at a friend’s birthday BBQ in San Mateo. It’s been so nice to be able to take a break from work and enjoy the sun, even if it’s a little chillier lately. Annnd I got to visit the farmer’s market Sunday morning, which I haven’t had time for in awhile. I’m starting to see all the fall produces make their appearance. And I’m so excited for apple and pear season.
I discovered a new dessert place near Union Square called One65 Patisserie and Boutique! They have the prettiest desserts with unique flavors. And I couldn’t resist getting a few of their macarons to try. There were so many flavors to pick from, but I think my favorite has to be the rose lychee.

Lately Sundays have become my favorite day of the week. Not only because every other week, it’s my only day off. But for almost three months now, it’s become a day filled with fun adventures, exploring new places, and eating good food. Chasing sunsets, bonfires at the beach, picnics at the park, walking the coastal trails. What better way to spend my Sundays?
Last weekend, I got to go to my first baseball game. We had tickets to the Giants’ game on Saturday evening. While I’ve never been much of a sports fan, it was fun watching and experiencing a baseball game live.

As the summer season is coming to an end, San Francisco’s short Indian summer is just about to begin. It’s not often that we get to see the sunset at the beach. Most of the time, the sun is hidden by clouds or thick fog. But last weekend, after a day out in the Mission district, we went to Pacific State Beach to watch surfers conquer the waves and to enjoy the sunset.

Earlier this week, my sisters and I came back from our trip to San Diego. So many adventures to share with you. Especially all the eating that we did while we were in Southern California. But the highlight of our trip? It had to be the San Diego Safari Zoo. We’ve been wanting to visit a safari zoo for awhile now and decided that we wanted to do it while we were in San Diego. Best decision ever.
I mean, how often do you get the opportunity to feed a giraffe? And be that close to one?
