Happy first day of September!

I can’t believe that it’s already September and that summer is starting to come to an end. But that means that this is the time to savor all those stone fruits. I am bsolutely obsessed with peaches and nectarines as you already know and seriously wish that it could last all year long. So while they’re still pretty readily available, I thought I could share with you yet another recipe that uses peaches.

As sad as I am about the summer season coming to an end, I am excited for all that fall has to bring. Change in colors of leaves, sweater weather, knee high boots, so many varieties of apples, pumpkin spice latte. What are you most excited for this fall?

If you’re visiting San Francisco on a clear night, venture out to the Embarcadero. Sit along the benches outside the Ferry Building and you can watch the lights dance and change on the Bay Bridge.

My sisters and I are headed to San Diego today, and I’m so excited for all the things we’re going to eat and see while we’re down there. If you have recommendations, I would still love them! Send them my way, and hopefully I’ll get a chance to explore a new place.

Happy Sunday!

It’s been such a long work week so I’m savoring every moment of today before I have to go back to work tomorrow. I’m so excited for today though! We have plans to go to Fort Point, located at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. There’s an event this weekend where pianos are placed inside one of San Francisco’s oldest and most iconic buildings. Free concerts in the middle of the day by professionals, and anyone can play the pianos the rest of the day.

We’ve done something similar in the past at the San Francisco Botanical Garden, and I’m sure that this location will be just as fun. Plus, it’s filled with so much history, which I love, and I can’t wait to explore Fort Point since I’ve never been inside.

One of my favorite places in San Francisco is Land’s End. It’s the perfect place to explore the coast, watch the sunet, and take an easy hike along the cliffside with views of the Golden Gate Bridge.

Is it odd to say that I’ve been looking forward to this weekend because I had absolutely nothing planned? I spent Friday night staying in with a bowl of homemade garlic shrimp vermicelli noodles and a little bit of Netflix. I had a CPR recertification class Saturday morning. And then maybe a walk through Golden Gate Park today, but nothing too eventful. Just a low key weekend. [Read more…]

This past weekend has been filled with events. My youngest sister Victoria won tickets to Outside Lands, a music festival in Golden Gate Park so we’ve been attending it most of the weekend. Amazing live music and of course, delicious foods and drinks. You know that’s really what I’m there for. Lol.

Last weekend my sisters, cousin, and I went to the Backstreet Boys concert and absolutely loved their performance, a mix of old jams and new songs from their latest album. But before we went to the concert, we decided that we wanted to go for an early dinner. We opted for an all you can eat Korean BBQ and hot pot place. Seriously, we might have a new obsession. Lol
