Roasted Vegetable, Bacon, and Egg Breakfast Casserole | Cooking with a Wallflower

Lately, I feel like it’s all about the breakfast. Have you noticed that recently too?

I think I’m trying to make breakfast a part of my daily routine. It is soo hard. Most days, I wake up, brush, change, grab my lunch from the fridge, and leave the house. All within the span of 14-16 minutes. How I manage that almost every day is beyond me. And how I manage that during the winter when it’s cold, foggy, and wet is seriously a miracle because I always want to linger in bed a little longer. Who doesn’t, right?

I hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving. Thanksgiving is one of my favorite holidays, and I just love that it revolves around food. So today, I’m sharing with you some photos from our Thanksgiving table. My sister and I teamed up to the honey pear pie. She put the pie together so that I could work on other dishes, then we designed the pie crust together.

I love all the seasons, but fall is my favorite. There’s something about fall that’s truly inspiring. Leaves changing colors on the tree branches, a variety of squashes in abundance, the upcoming holidays, and the warm flavors of the herbs and spices used in cooking.

I get really excited about fall and all the things that come with it. I only wish it didn’t pass by so fast!

Have you heard of Polder’s Old World Market? I’ve been obsessed with their Instagram feed. I can sit there scrolling through their photos forever. Polder’s Old World Market sells hand carved kitchen utensils, which they fittingly call Dreamware.

This Little Starter Spoon in Beech is my first Dreamware. And I’m so in love with it.

One of my favorite small businesses to shop for food props is For Such a Time Designs on Etsy. You may have seen all the hand stamped forks and spoons that I’ve used in my photos. They’re so much fun. It gets kind of addictive sometimes to browse through the selections to find the utensils that are the perfect fit.
