Last weekend, we decided to do a mini hike in the city after our French Quarter cooking class at Sur la Table. Even the skies were relatively clear, it was super cold and winter. But at least the views of the Golden Gate Bridge were clear.

Happy 2020!
The first part of the year is always so odd. It takes a lot of effort to remember that we’re in a new year. And of course, after all the holiday festivities, it’s hard to adjust back to a regular work schedule.
My friend Emily and I decided to try a new restaurant called Per Diem for lunch New Year’s Eve. We haven’t seen each other in awhile and thought a little lunch plus shopping would be perfect for catching up. We ordered the Wild Mushroom Pasta and it was simply amazing. The flavor and texture was so perfect. I highly recommend it.
