Semi sweet chocolate topped with mini holiday M&M’s. This M&M’s chocolate bark is super easy to make with just two ingredients and perfect for holiday snacking or gifting.
10 more days till Christmas!
I’ve been working 6 days a week lately, and I’ve been so exhausted. There’s barely any time to do anything else other than to eat and sleep.
So, when it comes to Christmas shopping, I’ve been a little neglectful. Anything that can’t be bought with a tap of my fingers will have to wait until next week when I have more than just Sundays off. Which means, I’m a little behind on practically everything, and that includes Christmas shopping. I’m going to regret that I didn’t start earlier. I just know it.
Are you all done with your shopping?
When it comes to the holidays, I’m obsessed with all things chocolate.
Who am I kidding?
I’m obsessed with chocolate all the time. Usually, the milk chocolate and white chocolate kind since they’re sweeter. But the dark chocolate variety is simply amazing when paired with nuts and fruits and candies. And you know, all of your favorite things.
There are so many different types of chocolate barks out there.
Like this S’more Bark
Pomegranate Green Tea White Chocolate Bark
Rosemary Sea Salt White Chocolate Bark
Chocolate Covered Strawberry Bark
And of course, Peppermint Bark. I can probably do better swirls these days. =)
But we’re keeping it simple today with this M&M’s Chocolate Bark.
Just two ingredients!
5 minutes of prep time and 30 minutes of wait time.
Then you can go, ta da! My festive M&M’s Chocolate Bark, and so little effort too.
If you’re me, you’ll probably eat the small batch all on your own.
But if you double or triple this recipe or even quadruple or quintuple?, this recipe, you’ll have definitely have enough to share with your friends and family. Or maybe not.
Did I mention I’m a chocoholic?
Line a 9×9 inch baking pan or a baking sheet with parchment paper. Set aside for now.
Melt 4 ounces of good quality semi sweet chocolate according to the directions on the package. I used Baker’s chocolate to do this.
Once the chocolate has melted, spread them into a thin layer. I like my bark thin so that it’s not too hard to bite into. But you don’t want there to be holes or gaps in your chocolate either.
Scatter mini M&M’s over the chocolate. I used the holiday version, but you can use what you have.
Refrigerate the chocolate for at least 30 minutes until the chocolate has hardened.
Once the chocolate is hard, break them into pieces.
Serve the M&M’s Chocolate Bark as a sweet treat.
Enjoy!

It’s a small batch so you don’t need as many M&M’s. But you can always add more =)
