Thick spaghetti tossed in a garlicky miso butter sauce with melted parmesan in every bite. This savory and creamy miso garlic butter pasta is simple, delicious, and perfect for a quick meal.
Happy Wednesday!
I hope you had a wonderful long weekend. I had a quick getaway just for a change in scenery and it was the most amazing one day away from home. I’ll share some photos soon. But if you can, definitely take a quick trip to Napa Valley. We didn’t do wine tasting or any of the things we would normally do in wine country. But all the flowers are in bloom right now. And it is soo pretty.
In the mean time, let’s talk about this creamy miso garlic butter pasta.
Every once in awhile, I want a quick yet flavorful meal. This miso garlic butter pasta is most definitely packed full of flavor. It’s savory and buttery and soo good. Plus, it’s super simple with just a few ingredients you most likely already have in your pantry. And it comes together about 20 minutes.
Once you try this miso garlic butter pasta, you’ll want it to be a part of your weekly meal plan.
In a medium sized pot, bring water to a boil and cook pasta until al dente according to the directions on the box. Reserve about ¾ cup of pasta water before draining the pasta. Set the pasta and the pasta water aside for now.
In a large sized skillet, add butter over low to medium heat. Once the butter has melted, add minced garlic and cook until the garlic has lightly browned. Add miso and a half cup of reserved pasta water. Whisk over medium heat until the miso has dissolved. Add pasta and parmesan to the skillet and stir vigorously until the cheese has melted and the sauce has thickened. If the pasta is still too dry, add the rest of the reserved pasta water.
Serve the creamy miso garlic butter pasta warm topped with furikake seasoning.

Wow this was some gourmet pasta! I added some mini shitake mushrooms to mine as well. So easy, and I’ll be making this again.
