Happy Sunday!

It’s been such a long work week so I’m savoring every moment of today before I have to go back to work tomorrow. I’m so excited for today though! We have plans to go to Fort Point, located at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge. There’s an event this weekend where pianos are placed inside one of San Francisco’s oldest and most iconic buildings. Free concerts in the middle of the day by professionals, and anyone can play the pianos the rest of the day.

We’ve done something similar in the past at the San Francisco Botanical Garden, and I’m sure that this location will be just as fun. Plus, it’s filled with so much history, which I love, and I can’t wait to explore Fort Point since I’ve never been inside.

In the mean time, let’s talk summer produce. We are days away from September, which is approaching ridiculously fast. I’m partly sad that summer is coming to an end, and I’m partly excited that with the arrival of September, fall and all my favorite holidays are just around the corner. But I’ll miss all of the amazing summer produces so I plan to enjoy it all while I can.

Heirloom tomatoes are one of my favorites. It’s super delicious as is and the colors are soo pretty. I wanted to keep this dish as simple as possible with the most basic of seasonings: olive oil, flaky salt, and freshly grounded pepper. That way you can taste the freshness of the tomatoes, corn, basil, and of course, the creaminess of the burrata.
