I’m obsessed with pasta of all kinds. I think you already know that though.

There’s something so comforting about pasta. They come in various shapes and sizes, providing different textures. They’re easy to make so they’re my favorite choice for weeknight dinners. If there’s anything I have to stock up on, it’s pasta.

On lazy nights, pasta carbonara or pasta aglio e olio or pasta cacio e pepe is often my favorite since I have all the ingredients at home. Simple dishes packed with flavor. How could I resist?

But guys, I’m about to introduce you to a new classic. Let’s talk about everything spice spinach parmesan garlic pasta. Some days, I swear everything but the bagel seasoning is the only seasoning I need. I can add it to practically everything, and it’ll be perfect. So since I’ve already added it to my homemade bagels, my soft pretzels, my slow scrambled eggs, my avocado toast, and my grilled cheese sandwich, why can’t I also add it to my pasta?

If you don’t have access to Trader Joe’s to get their everything but the bagel seasoning, you can make your own using this everything bagel seasoning recipe from Two Peas and their Pod. Seriously, you’ll want to add to all your foods. It’s more than a little addictive.

This pasta is tossed with lots of garlic, parmesan cheese, spinach, everything spice, and crushed red pepper. Simple to make, delicious, and my kind of a weeknight dinner.

Boil water in a large pot. Cook your choice of pasta until al dente, about 6-8 minutes. Drain the pasta, but reserve about a cup of pasta water for later.

In a large skillet, melt butter over low to medium. Once the butter has melted, add minced garlic. Cook until the garlic turns golden brown and aromatic.

Add pasta to the skillet and toss until the garlic is well incorporated in the pasta. Drizzle heavy cream over the pasta and add a half cup of the reserved pasta water. This will help loosen up the pasta.

Next, add shredded parmesan cheese and baby spinach leaves and lightly season with salt and pepper. Allow the heat to wilt the spinach and melt the parmesan cheese.

Season the pasta with a generous amount of everything spice and crushed red pepper.

  • 1 pound pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 8-10 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup reserved pasta water, divided
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan
  • 3 cups baby spinach
  • Everything spice
  • Crushed red pepper
  • Salt and pepper
