Everything Spice Spinach Parmesan Garlic Pasta

Pasta tossed with wilted spinach, parmesan, and garlic then seasoned with everything spice. This Everything Spice Spinach Parmesan Garlic Pasta is the ultimate comfort food.
  • 1 pound pasta
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 8-10 cloves of garlic, minced
  • 1 cup reserved pasta water, divided
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan
  • 3 cups baby spinach
  • Everything spice
  • Crushed red pepper
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Boil water in a large pot. Cook your choice of pasta until al dente, about 6-8 minutes. Drain the pasta, but reserve about a cup of pasta water for later.
  2. In a large skillet, melt butter over low to medium. Once the butter has melted, add minced garlic. Cook until the garlic turns golden brown and aromatic.
  3. Add pasta to the skillet and toss until the garlic is well incorporated in the pasta. Drizzle heavy cream over the pasta and add a half cup of the reserved pasta water. This will help loosen up the pasta.
  4. Next, add shredded parmesan cheese and baby spinach leaves and lightly season with salt and pepper. Allow the heat to wilt the spinach and melt the parmesan cheese.
  5. Season the pasta with a generous amount of everything spice and crushed red pepper.
  6. Serve this everything spice spinach parmesan pasta as part of your weeknight dinner routine.
