Happy Wednesday!

This past weekend my cousin turned 30 so we went to Napa Valley to spend the day eating and wine tasting. Despite the cold weather, flooded roads, and scattered rain, it was an amazing weekend. Unfortunately, since it was the weekend following Valentine’s Day, and also a long weekend, the wineries and restaurants were super packed. But it was still so much fun.

It was also my dad’s first time going to wine country. He kept telling me and my sisters not to buy too much wine. In the end, somehow we ended up with a case of wine, all picked out by our dad. And now because I bought a case, I’m also a wine club member. Lol.

I’ll share photos as soon as I can. And when you guys get the chance, you really have to visit.

In the mean time, let’s talk about this sparkling hibiscus orange soda.

I’m all about the pretty drinks. And this one has a vibrant color that I can’t help but obsess over. This sparkling hibiscus orange is non alcoholic, but it reminds me of mimosas. Maybe it’s because of oranges. So that means, this would be perfect with brunch too.

For this drink, I used fresh squeezed orange juice. Most of the time, I buy store bought orange juice, just because it’s easier. But there’s something about fresh squeezed orange juice that tastes so much more amazing. It’s a good thing we have an orange tree in front of my grandma’s house.
