Since I missed the holidays, I kind of want to indulge just a little to make up for it. This double chocolate chip bread is exactly what I’m looking for. It tastes partly like chocolate cake and partly like brownies.

I’ve been in a baking mood lately. Maybe it’s because I had so many plans for the holidays, but I couldn’t go through most of them since I wasn’t feeling well. I basically spent most of Christmas and New Year’s in bed. The worst part? I couldn’t taste!

What’s the point of eating good food if you can’t tell that it’s good? lol.

So now that I’m on the path to being myself again, I want to make up for it. And that means I want chocolate everything. This double chocolate chip bread has cocoa powder, melted semi sweet chocolate chunk, and white chocolate chips. Seriously, this is a chocolate lover’s dream.

Every bite is moist and chocolatey. Despite all the chocolate that this loaf contains, it’s not too sweet either. You can definitely taste the richness of the chocolate. I hope you’ll enjoy this as much as I do!

I’ve had a recipe very much like this for years, but I’d forgotten about it. Thanks for the reminder, and for this great-looking variation. I’m glad you’re feeling better, too!
