Loaf bread filled with cocoa powder, melted semi sweet chocolate chunks, and white chocolate chips. This double chocolate chip bread is so delicious, perfect for the chocolate lover.
Ingredients
  • 2 cups all purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ¼ cup cocoa powder
  • 1 large egg
  • ¾ cup brown sugar
  • ¼ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • ⅓ cup vegetable oil
  • 1½ teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 4 ounce semi sweet baking chocolate, chopped
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips or semi sweet chocolate chips
Directions:
  1. Preheat the oven to 350F. Line a 9x5 inch baking pan with parchment paper. Set aside for now.
  2. In a medium sized mixing bowl, whisk together all purpose flour, baking soda, and cocoa powder until combined.
  3. In another mixing bowl, cream together a large egg, brown sugar, granulated sugar, and vanilla extract until combined. Stir in buttermilk and vegetable oil.
  4. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients. Whisk until combined.
  5. Melt 4 ounces of semi sweet chocolate in the microwave until smooth. Heat in 10 second increments, and stir in between. Pour the melted semi sweet chocolate into the batter and stir until well combined.
  6. Fold in white chocolate chips or semi sweet chocolate chips or both into the batter.
  7. Pour the batter into the loaf pan. Use a spatula to spread the batter evenly.
  8. Bake in the oven for about 45-50 minutes. Remove the double chocolate chip bread from the oven. Test with a toothpick. If the toothpick comes out mostly clean, the bread is done. If not, bake for a few more minutes.
  9. Allow the bread to cool at room temperature for a few minutes.
  10. Serve the double chocolate chip bread in warm slices.
