Sweet strawberries blended with balsamic vinegar, lemon juice, olive oil, sugar and a pinch of salt for a tasty salad dressing perfect for the spring and summer seasons.
Seriously one of the best dressings ever. You have to try it.
I love anything with strawberries. You’ve probably noticed by now the amount of recipes that include strawberries. It’s gotten to the point where I think I’ll need to create a section just for strawberries soon.
Strawberries as a salad dressing? I’ll have to eat more salads just to have the dressing.
This dressing is freshly made and includes only a few ingredients. Blend all those ingredients together and you’re done.
First, remove the leaves and stem from the strawberries.
Add the strawberries, lemon juice, balsamic vinegar, sugar, and salt to the blender.
Blend the ingredients until it becomes smooth.
Drizzle over a salad such as Superfood Avocado Salad. Enjoy!

Oh yum! I’m in love with Tahitian Vanilla Balsamic vinaigrette from Quintessentials Gourmet in Seattle. It’s amazing mixed with goat cheese and spread over strawberries. I’m planning on a Strawberry with Tahitian Vanilla Balsamic Jam when the Oregon strawberries are ripe in a few weeks.

That sounds soo good! I have never had Tahitian Vanilla Balsamic Vinaigrette or Jam before. But that really sounds that something I have to try!

I LOVE strawberry vinaigrette!!

Me too! I tried it for the first time a long while ago at Sweet Tomatoes, an all you can eat salad buffet. I’ve been searching for that same strawberry balsamic vinaigrette. But it’s like impossible to find. When I finally found one, it wasn’t as good so I made my own. =)

I have one, too! If you search strawberry salad dressing on my blog, you’ll find it. It’s so good!

Love this idea. When we were last on Flprence they added strawberries to a Greek salad. It worked really well and I have done it regularly since. It always causes comment. Good comments 🙂

I do something similar to this. I make a homemade jam, and then I use a portion of that batch, add it to some apple cider vinegar, olive oil, and spices to taste and its amazing!
Andrea Giang | Cooking with a Wallflower says
That sounds really delicious! I haven’t tried making jam yet, but I think I might have to!
