Fresh orange juice poured over a blend of sweet peach, blackberries, and strawberries. This peach berry sunrise is a deliciously sweet and refreshing drink, perfect for warm summer days.
I’m super excited!
This weekend, we’re doing a little getaway up north. Every summer, my sisters, two of our cousins, and I try to do a little trip together. Two years ago, we did a few days in Southern California. Last year, we did an overnight trip to Napa County to do some wine tasting and relaxing. This year, since we had difficulty syncing all five of our schedules, we’re doing a day trip up north. By north, I really just mean an hour or so from San Francisco.
It’s going to be another food filled weekend because we’ve bookmarked a whole bunch of restaurants we want to try in the Santa Rosa and Petaluma area. Plus, maybe some cheese tasting.
Our plans aren’t quite set yet, but I’ll definitely share photos at a later time.
This peach berry sunrise!
I’m in love with the vibrant colors as well as the blend of fresh berries, peach, and citrusy orange juice.
With orange juice as the main ingredient, this smoothie is the perfect way to start the day.
This smoothie is definitely a great way to use up your berries and peaches. Sometimes, I get a little greedy and end up buying too much. My family and I like to eat our fruits before they become too soft. Sometimes when I have ripe fruits, I seal them in a freezer bag and place them in the freezer so that I can use them in a smoothie later. Plus, I’d get a cold drink without having to add ice and diluting the flavor.
Blend together strawberries, blackberries, peaches, and a little bit of orange juice.
To create a two color drink, pour ½ cup of orange juice in the glass first and then slowly pour the peach berry blend on top.
For a more swirled look, pour the peach berry blend into the glass first, then pour in the orange juice. Use a straw to swirl the orange juice into the peach berry blend.
Serve the peach berry sunrise cold.
Enjoy!

Andrea, these look so good!! Did you and your family have a great time on your road trip earlier this month? I’m curious where you went. You probably wrote a post about the places you visited; I’m just catching up with the month of August, lol. 😉 I’m pinning this one for all of the peaches we have lying around right now. And now, all I’ll be thinking about is getting out to SF or wine country again one of these days!

We went up to Windsor for the night. And did wine tasting in Santa Rosa at Ledson Winery and visited St Francis Winery. We mostly did a lot of eating but it was so much fun and way too short of a trip.
