Creamy oat milk whisked with matcha lavender powder until frothy. This matcha lavender latte is simple to make and so perfect for cold days.
Happy Wednesday! And Happy St. Patrick’s Day!
These past few days have been so busy. We’ve been apartment hunting during the weekend, celebrating my birthday on Monday, and adjusting to daylight savings.
Are you having as much trouble with daylight savings as I am? This first week of daylight savings has been difficult. As much as I love longer days, and being able to leave work with the sun still out, waking up in the morning to complete darkness? I definitely don’t love as much. Lol
Especially when it’s super cold and raining too. I’d rather linger in bed.
During the winter, one of my favorite ways to keep warm when it’s cold out is matcha latte. It’s definitely the perfect pick me up. I love the taste of matcha tea whisked with warm milk to create a warm creamy latte. It’s so simple yet so flavorful. And recently, when I discovered a company called Adaptology and learned that they have a line of matcha powder with a hint of lavender, I was excited.
This matcha lavender latte is creamy from the oat milk that I used. I’ve been obsessed with oat milk and nut milks and soy milks because it adds a thick creaminess to my lattes. If you haven’t tried these alternative milks before, definitely give them a try in your lattes and coffee. It’s so worth it. And the hint of lavender in the matcha latte is everything.
Hope you enjoy this as much as I do!
