thinking about keeping things simple since i might be alone. a neighbor suggested a cornish hen, adding my thots to a sweet potato, green beans, and with the bread i have in the freezer, cranberry sauce. and getting some flavored butter or cheese at the store, and dessert is a dark chocolate bar. with strawberry milk.

That sounds amazing. I just discovered that Trader Joe’s has truffle butter. And all of a sudden, I feel like I’d be satisfied with bread and truffle butter if I were to do a small dinner. lol. And maybe mashed potatoes and truffle butter.

Sounds great. I don’t think you meant to type 1 1/2 cup teaspoons of salt though. 🙂 I love garlic mashed potatoes.
