You guys! It’s mid August! How does time pass by so fast? Summer is almost over. The kids are going back to school, the abundance of stone fruits is starting to dwindle. But that means that San Francisco’s summer is coming.

Last Labor Day weekend, it was over 100 degrees for 3 days. And since it’s rarely ever that hot in San Francisco, no one knew how to stay cool. I’m hoping for warmer weather so that we get a break from the heavy fog for a few days, but definitely not that hot.

I love just how thick and creamy the overnight oats are. It’s slightly sweetened by the maple syrup. The cherries just take this simple breakfast to the next level.
