Acai, strawberries, banana, coconut water, and almond butter blended together for a delicious and refreshing beverage. Filled with tons of fruits, this smoothie will be perfect for quenching your thirst.
It’s Outside Lands in San Francisco this weekend. Have you heard of the event?
I don’t go because it’s out of my budget. And as a local resident, I get a little annoyed because I can hear the music in my own home, and occasionally, I can feel the vibrations too. If you’ve been to San Francisco, you know how difficult it can be to find parking, and when there are events, it’s almost impossible unless you’re super lucky. So when you live near the event, you know not to move your car if you park in the streets because it’ll be impossible to find a spot when you come back. One year, my dad had to park his car 30 blocks away and take the bus home because it was that hard to find a spot in our neighborhood. So if you’re headed to San Francisco this weekend, and you’re going anywhere near Golden Gate Park, expect it to be impossible to find parking. lol
Anyways, I’ve become obsessed with a new discovery. And nope, I’m not compensated to create this post. But I did get them for free through a giveaway from another blog.
While I was away on vacation, I learned that I won a Sambazon smoothie giveaway package from Purely Elizabeth. I don’t know about you, but when I win giveaways, I’m always super excited. It’s so thrilling! What I didn’t know was how big that package was. In total, I won over 10 of these packages. So as soon as I got home from my vacation, I wanted to try these packs. I’ve seen them before, but I’ve never tried it. The result? I really recommend the smoothie packs. They’re kind of pricy, but I have heard that they’re sold at Costco now. =)
There are two types of the frozen smoothie packs: the original superfruit pack and the unsweetened pack. It’s really up to you, which one you prefer. I personally like the original superfruit because I have a sweet tooth.
Combined in a smoothie, it’s slightly sweet and so delicious. I love the combination of different fruits, and it’s easy to make.
To make the smoothie, allow two pouches of the Sambazon to defrost until it has softened a little. If you don’t have the smoothie packs, you can use two cups of acai or blueberries or a combination of both instead.
Blend the two packs with coconut water, banana, strawberries, and almond butter until it becomes smooth.
Serve the drink cold.
Enjoy!
