Avocado blended with cloves of garlic and a squeeze of fresh lemon juice. This simple to make garlic lemon guacamole is delicious and great for a quick snack.
Happy Tuesday!
We’re quickly approaching the end of November, and I am soo not ready for that yet. Once December hits, I know that Christmas is just around the corner. But I love that the holidays brings everyone together. Any excuse to eat and celebrate, right?
When entertaining family and friends and coworkers, I honestly love those simple to make dishes that keeps the hunger at bay until it’s time for the actual meal. That means chips and dips of all kinds.
I don’t know about you, but I really love snacking. Sometimes I think I love it more than the actual meal itself because you get to eat a variety of things. But my favorite has to be guacamole.
Oftentimes, guacamole can be simple with no frills, no fancy ingredients, and yet somehow still be packed full of flavor. I think it’s the creaminess of the avocados. It can stand on it’s own.
This garlic lemon guacamole I’m sharing with you today is super simple. It requires ingredients that you probably already have at home. Fresh avocados, lemon, garlic, salt, and crushed red peppers.
You can uses any salt that you like. I prefer truffle salt or garlic salt for extra flavor. If you want a little heat, you can even add fresh chili peppers. Serve your guacamole with your favorite chips.
On occasion, I love the whole sweet and savory with my guacamole. It adds a little more depth to my snack. So it’s perfect that this month, my Degusta Box, a monthly subscription snack box, contains Popcorners kettle corn chips. They’re great for dipping with my guacamole.
In a food processor, add two medium sized avocados, two cloves of garlic, fresh lemon juice, and truffle salt or garlic salt. Blend until all the ingredients are combined and smooth.
Serve the guacamole with your favorite chips.
