Blended strawberries and peaches swirled into a simple no churn ice cream mixture with diced strawberries and peaches in every single bite. This no churn strawberry peach ice cream is refreshing and the perfect dessert for summer.
Guess what? Guess what?!
It’s National Ice Cream Day tomorrow!
So you know what that means. We’re obviously celebrating.
I mean, ice cream + Sunday? What better way to wrap up another summer weekend, right?
It might even be perfect as a dessert for brunch.
Plus, if there are leftovers, you’ll have dessert for the rest of the week.
I don’t know about you, but I love opening the freezer to find a pint of ice cream waiting to be eaten. Sometimes, I need a little pick me up after a long day at work. And a huge spoonful of ice cream will do just the trick for me.
No churn ice creams are my favorites. Not only are they super easy to make with just a few simple ingredients, but you can customize them however you like.
You know how utterly obsessed I am with strawberries and peaches. Together? Even better. And this is the peak season for them. So why not turn some of my favorite fruits into an ice cream flavor?
Blended strawberries and peaches swirled into a simple ice cream mixture with diced strawberries and peaches in every single bite. Sooo dreamy.
Fresh fruit in every spoonful. Yes, please.
What are some of your favorite ice cream flavors?
Place heavy whipping cream in a large bowl with condensed milk. Whisk the two ingredients together until the mixture becomes thick and bubbles begin to form at the top. This will be the base of the ice cream, simple yet so delicious.
In a blender, add strawberries and peaches. Blend the fruits until relatively smooth.
Pour the blended strawberries and peaches into the ice cream mixture and whisk until well incorporated.
Fold in the diced strawberries and peaches. I like to cut them into smaller pieces. It’s so much harder to eat when you have bigger pieces of strawberries and peaches in your ice cream and they’re frozen.
Freeze the ice cream overnight. I like to check on the ice cream every few hours to mix the ice cream, just in case the strawberries and peaches sink to the bottom. I also like to do some taste testing too while I’m in there mixing.
Serve the ice cream cold with your favorite toppings.
Enjoy!
