Spiced apple cider topped with vodka, club soda, and crushed ice. This apple cider vodka soda is the perfect cocktail for fall.
We’re only a few weeks away from Thanksgiving so it’s time to think about all the food we’re going to be serving. My sisters, cousins, and I have been talking about Thanksgiving dishes for weeks now. Mostly because we’re excited for all the food we’ll be making and eating. Plus, some of us are already having Friendsgiving. So now is really the time to start planning. Or maybe it’s my family and we’re super excited for any reason to eat.
When I think of fall, I think of apples and spices. And apple cider is one of my favorite fall drinks. I know everyone is all about the pumpkin spice lattes, but I get most excited about the apple ciders. Something about apple cider really embodies the flavors of fall. Maybe it’s because even though some apples are readily available all year round, it’s the apples that you find only in the fall that is packed full of flavor.
You get apples that are tart, apples that are sweet, and apples that are crisp. And when you make anything with apples, it’s simply magical.
So for a fall holiday drink, I wanted to use apple cider as the base. A little vodka, a little bit of club soda, crushed ice, and a cinnamon stick. And then ta da! You have a fall cocktail that you can make in just minutes. Perfect for any fall gathering.
