Glazed candied pecans made with just three ingredients in about 5 minutes. These candied pecans are delicious as a snack or as a topping for salads and desserts.

I’ve been obsessed with candied pecans lately. They’re soo addictive when eaten by themselves. I swear, I’ve been eating them nonstop, which is soo bad. Especially when I’m trying to save them for recipes.
Not that they’re hard to make, but I’d like to have them ready as toppings for salads and other desserts.
If only I can stop eating them at the pace that I’ve been eating them….
These candied pecans are so easy to make.
All you have to do is heat sugar and water together in a small pan or pot. Add the pecans and stir until the pecans are evenly covered.
Allow the pecans to dry. They will appear glazed.
Now, you can store these glazed candied pecans in an air tight container, eat them as a snack, or use them as a topper for your favorite salads or desserts.
See? So easy to make.
You need to make some today. =)
- 2 ½ tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 tablespoons water
- ¾ cup pecan, deshelled
- Place the granulated sugar and water into a small pan over low to medium heat. Allow the sugar water to come to a simmer.
- Now, add the pecan to the pan. Stir to evenly coat the pecan with the glaze. Allow the pecans to simmer for about 3-4 minutes before removing the pan from heat. Let the pecans cool and the sugar glaze to harden.
- Serve the pecans as a snack or as a topping.

I can see why you can’t stop eating them! I am really glad to get this recipe. Only I would have the same problem. I still want to make them, though. I love glazed nuts in salad, and I like that these don’t have any spices on them. Thanks so much, Andrea!

My mom makes these, so delicious! Have you tried it with brown sugar? I wonder how that would change the taste (or even if it will work).

I have made the pecans you mix and cover with the meringue before, but never these and they sound so much simpler. I will be making some of these, maybe not today, but certainly this Fall, both to snack on and to add to salads! excellent! and I just bought a bag of pecans 🙂 pecans are actually healthy, but I might lower the sugar a tad so I can eat more !
