Well this sounds different! Delicious way of introducing green tea into your diet instead of just hot water and lemon.

It’s not the same as drinking regular green tea. But I thought I’d give hot chocolate a makeover =)

So sorry it took me so long to reply to you! Life has been hectic lately. You can buy green tea powder at an Asian supermarket or online like Amazon.

Andrea- I’ve never heard of green tea powder. .. I’d that something I can buy in a normal grocery store or do I have to get at a specialty shop or online? I absolutely love green tea!

You can go to amazon.com and search for “matcha green tea powder”. Be sure to buy packages made in Japan only for authentic flavor 🙂

I’m so sorry it took me forever to reply to you! It’s been so hectic! I get my green tea powder from an Asian supermarket, but if they don’t carry it, you can always buy it online. I’ve seen it on Amazon. http://www.amazon.com/Maeda-En-Matcha-Culinary-Quality-1-Ounce/dp/B0087ALJ3M/ref=sr_1_8?ie=UTF8&qid=1423437601&sr=8-8&keywords=green+tea+powder

Now we’re talking! I’m absolutely crazy about matcha and green tea. I should definitely try this, although it’ll probably be the veganised version 😉
Andrea| Cooking with a Wallflower says
I hope you’ll like the veganized version. What are you thinking of using?
themauritiangeographer says
I think I can easily replace it with vegan milk and use soy whipped cream 😉
