An Asian inspired dipping sauce that is sweet, tangy, and spicy and can be made in just a few minutes. This sweet and spicy chili lime dipping sauce is perfect for eggrolls or your favorite appetizers.
We are already heading towards fall! Can you believe it?
Sometimes I feel time passes by so quickly. And I have no idea where it all goes.
But with fall just a few days away, I feel it’s time to get ready to celebrate!
There are so many reasons to gather and celebrate this season!
It could be that your favorite sports team is playing and you’re having a watch party with family and friends. It could be that someone you know is celebrating a birthday. It could be that Halloween is just around the corner. It could be that you’re planning your Thanksgiving dinner.
I know, it sounds like it’s far away, but it’s coming up soon.
My family is already thinking about what we’re making for Thanksgiving. Not kidding.
Since I come from an Asian family, we always have a mix of foods, a combination of American and Asian foods.
And one of my favorites? Eggrolls with a sweet and spicy chili lime dipping sauce.
There’s something about the crunchiness of eggrolls loaded with vegetables, shrimp, chicken, or pork that’s just so addicting.
And how can I eat my favorite appetizers and snacks without a dipping sauce, right?
Sometimes I’m not sure whether I’m eating for the dipping sauce or for the appetizers and snacks.
Need an idea for your next gathering?
I wanted to share with you these Van’s Kitchen Egg Rolls.
Van’s Kitchen Eggs Rolls are full of chopped carrots, onions, celery, cabbage and your choice of white meat chicken, lean cuts of pork, or delicious bites of shrimp. These eggrolls are low in fat and calories and contain no MSG so they’re a great choice for a healthy snack or meal. Plus, it’s a great way to sneak veggies into your kids’ diet.
They’re easy to make too. You can microwave them, heat them in the oven, or fry them on the stove. These eggrolls are crispy on the outside and so flavorful with vegetables and meat on the inside. Sooo good.
You can find Van’s Kitchen Egg Rolls at Walmart in the refrigerator section.
Since I love sauces, I created a dipping sauce that pairs perfectly with these eggrolls.
This sweet and spicy chili lime dipping sauce is packed with flavor. Savory, sweet, tangy, spicy, this sauce has it all. And I love that I can quickly whisk it together in just a few minutes. So if you have guests coming over and you want to serve an Asian inspired sauce with your appetizers, this just might be the sauce for you.
Plus, if you have leftover dipping sauce, you can always use it as dip for another appetizer or snack or as a sauce for your next meal.

Looks delish. I love chillies but as I didn’t eat them as a child they sometimes upset my tummy so would put just one teaspoon of chillies for me and my wimpy family.
