Earl grey latte with a hint of floral in every sip. This earl grey lavender latte is creamy and simple and so cozy, perfect for cold winter days.
Counting down the days until Christmas.
I feel like it’s been forever since I’ve shared a new recipe. So much has been happening since Thanksgiving weekend. I feel as though I’ve been so busy lately and missing every moment of the holiday season. And even though I can’t share any news quite yet, I am soo excited for all the changes that are taking place. I honestly cannot wait to share news with you some time soon.
In the mean time, I need to share this earl grey lavender latte.
It’s been so cold and rainy these past several days. The kind of cold day where you want to sit on the sofa wrapped in a warm blanket sipping on tea and reading a book. I know it’s a little old school, but there’s just something about flipping through the pages of a book that’s so cozy and comforting to me. I will always prefer that over an ebook. What about you?
This earl grey lavender latte has been a favorite of mine lately. I love the taste of earl grey because it has such robust flavor. Steeped in creamy oat milk, earl grey is amazing as a latte. For this particular latte, I add some dried lavender buds to give it a hint of floral.
You can sweeten the latte if you like or you can drink without. It’s up to you. I hope you enjoy this earl grey lavender latte as much as I have.
In a small pot, heat oat milk over low to medium heat. Once the milk has warmed, steep earl grey tea bags for several minutes. Add dried lavender to the pot and let it steep for a minute or two. If you like the floral flavor, you can steep the lavender in the milk for longer. But I like a light floral taste so I do it for a minimal amount of time.
Remove the tea bags and pour the milk through a strainer.
Use a frother to create the frothiness on top of the latte if desired.
Serve the earl grey lavender latte warm.
Enjoy!
