Happy Lunar New Year!

Lunar New Year Macarons

My family has been busy preparing for the lunar new year. So many traditions to follow every single year. My mom is a little superstitous.

But I thought it would be fun to order some Lunar New Year themed macarons from Ketsourine Macarons for our celebrations. Aren’t these the cutest? I love the panda!

When we visited Vietnam in January, a number of people told us they loved Lunar New Year or Tet as they called it, because for 3 days they reveled in the freedom to do things which otherwise would have got them into trouble, such as gambling. We were told police are scarce during this period and people like to go a little wild and take advantage.
