Life of a Wallflower Part 6 – Desperately Seeking Patient

It’s been a week since I started the #100HappyDays challenge. I personally think it’s a lot of fun documenting the everyday moments that make me happy.

Here are a few snapshots from this week:

I made a loaf of this amazing Strawberry Bread using a recipe from one of my favorite bloggers, Sally’s Baking Addiction. If you love strawberries as much as I do, you’ll have to try this bread.

I finally managed to make mini donuts that taste like donuts. The recipe still needs a little more tweaking, but it’s soo much better than my previous tries. This was the fourth attempt.

My favorite spot to eat lunch and read comments from other bloggers on my iPad mini. But I don’t respond because I don’t like typing on a tablet. lol. I wait until I get home to reply on my laptop. So much easier with a keyboard.

If you want to see more photos of my #100HappyDays, you can find them on my Instagram page. You don’t need to follow to see the pictures. Plus there are plenty of sneak peeks at future recipes. =)

I’m sure you’re curious about my post title, so I’m going to address it now.

There’s only a few months left until my dental hygiene licensing exam and it is so very stressful…. That might actually explain the number of desserts I’ve been producing lately…

In order to take the exam, we have to each find a patient that meets the conditions outlined, a certain amount of buildup (calculus/tartar), very few fillings, and no cavities. It might sound easy enough, but it isn’t. We’ve screened over a hundred patients in the last month and not many people qualified. With 25 people taking the exam, we need at least 25 patients plus backup patients in case our primary patients don’t qualify. Without patients, we can’t even take the exam.

So in a desperate attempt, if you live in the San Francisco – San Jose Bay Area and might be interested, or know someone who might be interested, please refer to the photo below for more info and contact our school clinic.

As for the $200, people who qualify to be patients for the exam and end up going as patients to the licensing exam will be paid for the time. But they have to qualify first.

Until next time =)

Hello! I also do not like typing on a tablet and prefer using a keyboard…for blogging, I also find I need a mouse to drag, cut and paste. 🙂 Hope you found a patient!

Wow, that’s kind of a pain…I would qualify but I don’t live in the area….No cavities, that I know of and I don’t have any fillings! 🙂 Best of luck!
