Mixed greens tossed with peaches, nectarines, plums, apricots, and cherries topped with a drizzle of poppy seed dressing. This stone fruit salad is refreshing and filled with some of the best fruits of summer.
Ingredients
2 cups mixed greens
6-7 cherries, quartered
1 large peach/nectarine, sliced
2 apricots, sliced
1 medium plum/pluot, sliced
1 medium tomato, sliced
a handful of basil leaves
2 tablespoons chopped walnuts
poppy seed dressing, or dressing of choice
Slice of bread for serving (optional)
Directions:
Prepare all the fruits.
Toss the sliced fruits with the mixed greens, fresh basil leaves, sliced heirloom tomatoes, chopped walnuts, then drizzle with your favorite dressing.
