Garlic Pea Sprouts Stir Fry

Tender pea sprouts stir fried with minced garlic and served with rice. This garlic pea sprouts stir fry is amazingly delicious, simple, and flavorful.
  • 1-2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 6-7 garlic cloves, smashed or minced or both
  • 4 cups pea sprouts
  • ¼ teaspoon salt, more to taste
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper (optional)
  1. Heat the olive oil in a medium sized pan for about a minute.
  2. Once the oil has heated, carefully add the smashed or minced garlic to the pan.
  3. Cook the garlic until it turns a golden brown and aromatic. Then add the pea sprouts.
  4. Use a spatula to stir the pea sprouts so that they will cook evenly. Once the pea sprouts have shrink in size and are tender, season with salt and crushed red pepper.
  5. Plate the garlic pea shoots on a plate.
  6. Serve this dish with rice.
