Hot apple cider flavored with the spices of cinnamon and nutmeg. Easy to make with just a few ingredients, this fall beverage will become a favorite.
Ingredients
2 cups apple juice (fresh or store bought)
½ teaspoon ground cinnamon
⅛ teaspoon ground nutmeg
Directions:
Add apple juice, ground cinnamon, and nutmeg into a small pot over medium heat. Let the apple cider simmer for about 15 minutes before removing it from heat. Allow the apple cider to cool for a few minutes. Pour the apple cider into a glass, and serve warm.
Notes
Sometimes when you boil the apple juice, the resulting apple cider is less sweet. If that's the case, you can add a little bit of brown sugar to taste.
