Iced milk topped with a matcha cold brew and a drizzle of salted caramel. This salted caramel matcha latte is simple, delicious, and refreshing.
Ingredients
Matcha cold brew
  • 1 teaspoon matcha powder
  • ¼ cup water
Iced Milk
  • 3-4 teaspoons salted caramel
  • 2-3 teaspoons maple syrup, more to taste
  • 1 cup crushed ice
  • 1½ cup milk
  • 1 cup crushed ice
Garnish
  • Mint leaves
Directions:
  1. In a small bowl, whisk together matcha powder and a small amount of water until a paste forms. Add the rest of the water and whisk until all the matcha powder has dissolved. It’s best if you have a bamboo whisk. It helps evenly dissolve all of the matcha powder. But if you use a small whisk, that should work too. Set aside for now.
  2. Drizzle salted caramel on the sides of each of the tall glasses.
  3. Then add 1-2 teaspoons of maple syrup each into the bottom of two tall glasses. Add about a half cup of ice to each glass. Pour the milk into the glass so that the milk hits the ice. Add about a half cup more ice to each of the glass. You want the ice to be higher than the milk. Pour the matcha cold brew into the glass so that it hits the ice and not directly into the milk. This will create a layered effect.
  4. Serve the salted caramel matcha latte cold with fresh mint leaves on top.
