Happy Sunday!

I’ve been waiting for the perfect fall weekend to share this apple cinnamon bread with you! I actually made this loaf of quick bread in early September, but it didn’t quite feel like fall yet. But now, it’s nearly mid-October so it’s time to share all things apples and cinnamon and brown sugary goodness.

Because apples, cinnamon, and brown sugar has got to be one of the best combination of flavors ever. It’s warm and comforting. And when the apple cinnmaon bread is baking in the oven, the entire house smells like all things fall and feels warm and cozy with the heat radiating from the oven.

And that moment when you open the oven to test the bread and get that deliciously mouthwatering aroma of apples and cinnamon. <3

Yup. And now you get to have a loaf of this at home too.

A warm slice of apple cinnamon bread served with coffee or tea, or even hot chocolate, on a chilly fall morning. Hope you’ll enjoy this as much as I do!

Preheat the oven to 350F. Lightly grease a 9×5 inch baking pan with nonstick cooking spray or vegetable oil. Or line it with parchment paper so that the length overhangs on the sides.

In a large mixing bowl, add brown sugar, granulated sugar, sour cream, beaten eggs, and vanilla extract. Use a whisk to mix until all the ingredients are well incorporated.

In a small mixing bowl, combine all purpose flour, baking powder, and baking soda.

Pour the half the batter into the loaf pan. Next, add the apple mixture. Then pour the rest of the batter over the apple mixture. Use a knife to swirl the batter a little to distribute the apple mixture in the batter.

Bake the apple cinnamon bread in the oven at 350F for about 45-50 minutes. Test the loaf for its readiness by inserting a toothpick through the center. If the toothpick comes out clean, the bread is ready. Allow it to cool for about 10-15 minutes before slicing into the bread.

I’m saving this! It looks so good! I think this apple cinnamon bread and chocolate chip banana bread are my fiance’s favourite types of bread! I also like these and raspberry swirl lemon loaf from Starbucks.
