I’ve been obsessed with anything mint and citrus for awhile now. Something about that combination is soo refreshing. And I just never get tired of it.

Just search lemonade on my blog and see how many results come up.

It’s not too crazy hot in San Francisco, as in, not at all, since it’s foggy and cold here. We have the heater on at night, and when I’m headed to work or running errands, I’m bundled up with a jacket and scarf.

And yes, it was foggy on the 4th of July too! So watching the fireworks means watching through the fog, which is to be expected when you’re in San Francisco. We don’t really get heat until September/October.

But! I know that the summer heat has definitely arrived elsewhere. Drive 20-30 minutes out of the city, and the temperature is like 20 degrees higher.

So what better way to cool down than with a glass of lemonade or limeade?

I almost always have lemons and limes waiting to be used at home. So depending on what I have on hand, I can make a limeade or a lemonade.

Since I had pomegranate juice in the fridge, I decided to pair it with fresh blueberries and mint.

So many different flavors in this drink. And so easy to make. <3

I hope you’ll enjoy it as much as I have!

Blueberries seem to go well with citrus. My father grew close to 60 gallons of blueberries this summer! Our freezers are stuffed with blue goodness, so I’ve been going smoothie crazy! I recently blended a handful of frozen blueberries with ice, a touch of stevia sweetener, and a glass of store bought raspberry lemonade. It was so tasty!
