Life of a Wallflower Part 3 – More Birthday Outings

Happy Spring!

I hope you guys are all enjoying the first day of spring. Hopefully it’ll start to get warmer for those who are stuck in the cold. =)

San Francisco has been unusually summer-like. We’re usually cold and foggy, but lately, the weather looks like this.

This week in a little peek of my life…. If you didn’t already know that I like to eat from reading my blog, you’ll probably notice it after this post…

I actually don’t go out to eat that much, usually just special occasions or lazy days, but because last weekend was my birthday, I’ve been celebrating with friends. Many of my friends don’t know each other well, so if I’m celebrating my birthday, it would have to be separate outings.

First, my sister surprised me with a Swedish Princess cake from a bakery called Schubert’s Bakery.

Last week, I mentioned that I went to the Cheesecake Factory with two close friends.

This week, I went back to the Cheesecake Factory. This time, with my younger sisters.

My friends came by and took me out for ramen! One of my favorite foods. This was from Ramen Dojo in San Mateo. I ordered an extra spicy Miso ramen.

Then we had dessert at Cream in San Mateo. I had chocolate chip cookies with strawberry cheesecake ice cream.

Most nights though, I just prefer eating at home, and this is one of my favorites, hot pot at home.

Kim from Sweet Kimplicity made me this card. Isn’t her paper quilling so amazing? I’m trying to learn to do it, and it feels impossible!

Check out her blog to find recipes, crafts, and other DIY projects.

I’ll have to stop eating out so much. Otherwise, I’ll run out of recipes to share with everyone. lol.

I’ve actually had somewhat of a bad week. I’ve encountered yet another setback in trying to get my license, and it is so frustrating.  But I truly believe that everything will work out in the end so I’m trying to stay positive. =)

Special thanks to my friends for making my week better!

Enjoy the rest of the week and I hope you have a wonderful weekend!

Happy belated birthday, you deserved it! As far as the challenges: I always blamed the teacher! Lol, until I became one…

Happy belated birthday! I recently moved to the Bay Area, so this has been my first Northern California winter … I can’t get over how beautiful it has been! Glad you were able to soak up the gorgeous weather on your birthday. 🙂 I love your blog & your recipes!!
