An easy to make blackberry syrup mixed with club soda and a touch of cream. This blackberry cream soda is the perfect way to use up your blackberries.
Ingredients
  • ½ cup blackberries
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
  • 1 ½ cup club soda
  • 1 – 2 tablespoons heavy cream or half and half
  • Crushed ice
Directions:
  1. In a small pot, add blackberries, granulated sugar, and a little bit of water. Allow the mixture to simmer over low to medium heat for a few minutes until the berries have softened and start to fall apart. Stir to prevent the berries from burning.
  2. Once the berries are done, allow the blackberry syrup to cool down for a few minutes before dividing them evenly between two glasses.
  3. Fill the glasses almost to the rim with club soda. Add a little bit of cream. Top the drinks with crushed ice.
