Lightly sweetened hibiscus tea mixed with grapefruit juice and lemon juice. This refreshing grapefruit hibiscus lemonade is perfect for hot summer days.
Ingredients
2 cups water
1 teabag hibiscus tea
2 tablespoons granulated sugar, or sweetener of choice
1½ cup grapefruit juice
3 tablespoons lemon juice
Crushed ice
Mint for garnish
Directions:
In a small pot, heat water until it comes to a boil. Once the water comes to a boil, remove the pot from heat, and add a hibiscus tea bag and a little bit of sugar. Stir to dissolve the sugar. Allow the hibiscus tea to steep for about 3-4 minutes before removing the teabag.
Allow the hibiscus tea to cool down to room temperature. Pour the hibiscus tea, grapefruit juice, and lemon juice into a pitcher, and stir to incorporate the drink.
Serve the grapefruit hibiscus lemonade topped with crushed ice.
