Happy Monday!

I hope you had a great weekend.

Oh my gosh. The last few days have been so eventful. Dental conventions and then Eat Drink SF with my sisters and cousins. Last year, we went to the event for the first time and loved it so we wanted to go again this year.

There were so many different vendors for food and alcohol. And it was pretty much all you can eat. The only issue was that there’s so many people attending this year, the lines were so ridiculously long.

My favorite was the spicy fried chicken sandwich from The Bird. The chicken was crispy on the outside and tender on the inside with so much flavor. I can’t wait to visit the actual restaurant and indulge some more.

The best dessert was the sweet corn vanilla ice cream, which I hope to replicate some time soon. Crossing my fingers it’ll turn out just as good.

In the mean time, let’s talk about this strawberry pineapple sparkling soda.

I feel like this summer has been all about the mocktails. Sparkling sodas, seasonal fruits, simple ingredients. They’re super easy to make and soo tasty too.

This strawberry pineapple sparkling soda is one of my favorite drinks this summer. It’s simple to make with just a handful of ingredients and perfect for summer as well as for entertaining.

Use a muddler to mash the strawberries. Add pineapple juice and stir until the strawberries are incorporated into the pineapple juice. Top the drink with club soda and crushed ice.

Serve the strawberry pineapple sparkling soda with mint or lemon basil as garnish.

Enjoy!
