Happy Spring!

It’s finally officially spring! Yay! It’s been such a gloomy and wet winter that I’m so ready for sunshine and warmth. Plus, a change of season means a fresh start, right? I’m so excited. I’m ready for some change. Spring means warmer weather and bright colorful flowers. I’m especially excited to see the cherry blossoms!

What are you looking forward to this spring?

To celebrate spring, I’m sharing with you this refreshing red currant lime soda. The festive colors, the tartness of red currants, the bubbly-ness of the club soda are all perfect for serving family and friends during spring and summer. I can definitely see this as one of my future go to drinks!

I don’t come across red currants often. But when I saw them at the store, I couldn’t resist buying them. They’re really tart, so I wouldn’t recommend eating them like grapes or blueberries. But they’re great as toppings and add ins for desserts and drinks.

Have you ever had popping boba before? They’re round and colorful and filled with fruit juices. When you bite into a popping boba, juice bursts from within. You can usually find them as toppings for frozen yogurt, rolled ice cream, or milk tea. These red currants remind me of them!
